Overflow Nipple Repair Kit Will BMW work for MBZ?

The overflow nipple on my '94 wagon is leaking. I did a search and most replies involve JB welding a replacement tube or similar, but BMW has BEHR Radiator Overflow Nipple Repair Kits for sale for something like $1.29 each. It looks like the one in my MBZ BEHR radiator.

Anyone tried to fix a leak with a BMW part? Try BMW 17-11-0-419-132 for a 740il

BMW is closed today, but if anybody has tried this, it looks like it's worth trying.
