Ah, the sweet success of victory! Congratulations!! It's not a comforting feeling to hear your Benz grinding and not starting. I know all too well, the same thing happened to me last October. I parked my car and then when I went to start it again, it didn't start. It just sort of ground and ground but no start. I tried two more times and just when I thought I would give up and call the tow company, I tried one last time and it started right up. I immediately drove it to the nearest MB mechanic who diagnosed and did something to it and told me to drive it for a couple days and if it didn't act up bring it in and he would replace the relay. That fixed it. The scary thing is that it gave no warning signs, is there anyway that one can know that the relay is about to go?
