Question Leaking gas from engine bay

Hey everyone, so I had a leak in my main fuel hose from tank to pumps on my 91 w124. I ordered the hose, tank strainer and a vent valve (which has been missing since we got the car) Yesterday everything was installed including the vent valve and for the first time the system held enough pressure to make that PSSSS noise when you remove the filler cap, no leaks so I figured we're all fixed.

Well this morning I gave her a wash and I noticed I was smelling gas, so I look down after she was dried and I see gas dripping from the front right wheel well. I pop open the hood and there is gas coming from this yellow connection that looks like it should have a hose connected to it or something. This has never happened before so I think this has something to do with the vent valve. I also noticed a bubbling noise coming from the fuel tank Maybe I put the vent valve on wrong? Is that yellow thing missing something????
