75' SL selective interior replacement
I'm putting together a list of what interior items to replace in my 75' 450 Sl.
Here is the issue.... the interior is brown (well, more like a dark tan) and other parts are greenish. Could this have occurred because of fading? Alas, there are no #'s on the door or chassis other than the vin. so no way to track what the car had originally. Has anyone seen this "color change" problem in other older convertibles?

call the local dealer. they can use their national database to determine the origional interior color.

Yes lobo I have a 78 450 sl and Its red interior was also fading to a ugly brown. I used a carpet spray and it worked great. The other parts such as the door panels etc. I believe you could find a good paint to cover them. I have used paint for touch up but dont know if it will do a complete job.
