Bent my subframe
Long story but driving down a dirt road with my 1991 190E 2.6 and I hit a rock and bent my subframe. It hit right where the spring link attaches and pushed it back about a inch and a half. I didn't notice it until got up to speed and noticed the going side to side when I hit dips in the road. I was hoping it was just the shock but I just had a look at it and found this out. Didn't think much of it at first until I noticed it was different from the other side.
So, my question is how do I fix it? Can it be straightened or replaced? What would be involved? What would happen if I just left it?
