Missing at idle when cold
Hey guys,
My car hasn't been started in a bit over a month, and before that it sat for almost 2 months without being driven (it's a coupe used as a weekend car). Anyway, yesterday I took it on a 200km trip and it was missing at idle. It sort of came for 5-10 seconds then started idling fine during warm up. Then after 1km of driving at the lights it started missing again, then went away and was fine for the rest of the 200km. What could this be? The plugs are about 3-4 years old, but only about 3,000km on them.

I would check for any cracks in your vacuum hoses. Not sure if you have an Idle Control Air Valve but in mine (300E), it was the cause the hunting idle issue. You can try new plugs if they are old and carboned up. Bad plugs and arcing wires can cause problems also but usually you know when these are bad when you accelerate.
