Has anyone tried to retrofit a factory keyless entry (infrared flip key) into thier 94-96 W202? I am looking to find out if the cars are pre-wired for it and what I need to take from the donor car. So far I think all I need is the rearview mirror and the decoder box, but if anyone has done this and can add some insight I would greatly appreciate it.

I have an OEM, new-in-box 97 driver doorhandle with the cut-out for the sensor. IIRC, there are sensors on the trunk, rearview mirror, and of course, driver door. Maybe you could just get away with the driver door sensor?
I'll let others answer, but I do have a shiny new doorhandle when you are ready.
