420SEL Idle Control Module
Where is the "Idle Control Module" located on a 420 SEL year 1986? It isn't in the middle of the firewall where I expected to find it.
My idle speed is too high, stays around 900 rpm. The fuse in the "Overvoltage Protection Relay" is okay and I have cleaned the "Idle Valve". Any help would be appreciated. |

It is located on the inside firewall below the front passenger's feet. Remove carpets and it is underneath a cover.
