A/C Shuts Off
89 300TE A/C works great for 15 to 20 minutes then shuts off. If I turn the engine off and wait 2 or 3 minutes and restart, A/C will run again for 15 to 20 minutes then shut off again. I am thinking its the pressure switch next to the drier. Any ideas????????? Its getting hot

The system shuts down the compressor if the compressor speed sensor doesn't jive with engine RPM. Bad speed sensor, loose belt, seizing compressor could all be culprits.

any way to check the speed sensor and where is it located?

You can ohm test the sensor at the compressor connector or climate relay. Don't remember the spec at the moment. Usually tricky to catch as it tends to go intermittent before it outright fails.
