Fixed AC problem, now the vents don't work in my 1998 C280

Thanks to this thread and a few others:
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/showthread.php?t=147751

I was able to fix my "AC leak in the evaporator" that was going to cost me at least $2,800. Thank you all very much, I had gone 4 long years in the VA summers sweating that out having no idea that in 5 short minutes it could be remedied.

Now my center vents don't work at all and I can't switch the flow from the dash to the floor to the windsheild defrost. It only blows through the side vents. In the process of correcting my problem by fixing the EC button I'm afraid I may have reset something completely.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

You need to start by checking the vacuum connections for the vacuum switch-over valve, located under the passenger under dash panel.

Thanks so much! Could it be a hardware situation even if the vents stopped working the moment I reset the codes in my climate control panel trying to fix my ac?

Please bear with my questions, I'm a new DIYer.
