Looking to buy 1999 E320 Wagon
Brother looking at a 99 E320 wagon, with 140k. Any major problems with these cars?

Rear main seal, transmission. The rear main seal can only be looked at when on a lift; expensive bugger to replace. The transmission has one of the those stupid "lifetime fluid" changes which means that if you never change the fluid, your transmission will fail in your lifetime. Make sure the tranny fluid was changed regularly - it means a lot.
Window regulator failures are common. Bad pixels on the gauge cluster common. That's about it.
