E320 rear window up/down
Rear window seems like it is off the track.
Is currently down. Won't go up. I'm about to tear into it. Any pointers on where to find info on this would be appreciated. Looked on StarTek but can't find the 210 model.

Well, that was easy enough.
The problem is the plastic traveler that rides up & down on the vertical track, it is in multiple pieces. Can I get that part? Or do I need to get the whole track? Or do I have to get the WHOLE motor assy., track & all?

OK, found a slider at a few places online (about $12).
Got 2 in case the other side cr@ps out.

Unfortunately, a common problem on W210's. DIY's on most sites. If you use the windows a lot having a spare is a good idea.

If your regulator is damaged to the point where the slider isn't enough, you replace the regulator itself while reusing your motor. It's not extremely expensive.

Yeah, I figured I'd try the cheap fix first.
Quite a few manufacturers. Aside from OEM, I figured DORMAN would be OK. I also figured the least expensive might be questionable, i.e. smaller gauge metal parts, etc.

Check the "buy parts" link above to find an OE manufacturer. That's likely a better fit than a Dorman.
