Fluid change manual tn,
I have rarely seen a recommendation for a fluid change in a manual transmission clutch . The fluid is the same as used in the brakes so it must be getting contaminated at the same rate .
Anyone changed this to Dot 5 ? Thanks Ad |

I believe your suspicions to be correct, it should be flushed every two years, just as the brakes. I see no advantage changing to dot5.

Don't use Dot 5!
If you want a higher boiling point use ATE Type 200
