M110 camshaft specifications
I converted my M110 to a TBI injection system. I've got a spare M110 and I was considering pulling the cams, having them re-ground to 280E spec's and slipping them into my car.
Does anyone know if this will work? I'm mainly concerned with any additional overlap which might be in the E camshafts. Lift and duration can all be ground in but the overlap could be the killer on the project. |

Had the intake cam ground on my 1982 280E autocross car(euro).
Worked just fine!

Yeah but you already had the "E" cam. I'm wondering what the physical differences in overlap (if any) are. If there aren't any then it will work. Even if there are I suppose I'll see some improvement by changing the duration. I should imagine the lift will be the same.
