What are these?

I'm restoring a 1983 380SEC. When I took the bottom of the dash down this plug fell down, anyone know what it is? Aslo wondering what the metal tube and sensor thing under the headliner is for. Thanks

The metal tube/sensor is probably part of the climate control system. Air drawn past the sensor through the tube helps the sensor read the temperature of the passenger compartment more reliably.

The other cable/connector does not look factory; it might have been for an added-on alarm, stereo, etc.
