E280 W210 1996 will not start
Hi Yesterday my car started and performed as usual. After 20min of driving I switched off the engine. Ater 5 min engine would not start. It was cranking over , but would not start. 30 mins later engine turned over and started.......... car is funtioning normal. Any idea as to what the problem could be.

Would the crank sensor cause a CEL?
K40 relay? In the black box near the firewall under the hood on passenger side. Check the fuses on top of it, then unplug the 2-3 giant multi-connector plugs and replug (may cure an intermittent connection). It controls many functions, from starter to wipers, and it's essentially a bunch of relays in one expensive lump. Never have figured out why they chose to do it that way but i'm sure there is a reason. Please keep us posted!
