W124 Keyless Entry Help

Hey guys,

I bought my mom a keyless entry system for her E320 station wagon for christmas. I have it all installed and it works really well, but I have three wires I need to find.

1. Front Parking Light wire
2. Rear Parking Light wire
3. Trunk release wire

I know that the two parking light wires are located on the turn signal stalk, but is there an easier location that is near the rear bench/vacuum pump to tap in to? Also what color is the trunk release wire, where is it located, and where could I tap in to it? Is running a wire to the actual mechanism the only way to wire this?

Thanks!

Try this site. It has all the wiring and location for almost all cars. Good luck.

^Looks like light switch is the only answer. Oh well, shouldn't be too hard of a job.

This is the kit I ordered and I am more than pleased. The instructions are chassis specific which is great, but they lack direction when it comes to telling you where the wires are.
