M117 amg hammer heads

Hi all, I have managed to get my hands on a set of double overhead camheads built by AMG for the M117 560 V8.

Will these heads fit on my M116 450 V8, or will it just be aesier to transplant a 560 motor (can get one) into the 450slc and install the amg heads on the 560?

The heads are designed to fit the M117 only.
You may want to consider selling the heads as if they are not damaged, They may fetch more from a collector in the USA then what your modified 450SLC would be worth.
The value of the heads is to one who is building a period vehicle that the heads were used on.
They are extremely rare.
A 450SLC never had the M117 DOHC engine option so even though it would be a great performing vehicle it would have diminished value, perhaps less then a pristine stock 450SLC

I'll also add that the engine bay cannot accomodate the DOHC heads, thus were never installed in the r/c107.

I'd be curious to hear what #'s are stamped on the valve cover. You should also pull said cover and measure the cam bearing diameter.

Are these the heads that were for sale on ebay a year or so ago? IIRC, they were Early heads.

You also need the intake manifold, w/o that you'll either be fabricating your own ($$$$) or they'll be un-useable.

Should you decide to run these on Something I do have a spare intake or two, as well as all the unique gaskets that these heads use. Should you decide to go 6L we have the correct 100mm head gaskets as well.
