Brake rotors; SLS acumulators

Yesterday I pulled the front wheels of the S500, saw that the front brake rotors had quite a ridge on them. Then measered thicness, both front rotors was thinner than minimum spec, this surprised me on a 87k mile car.

Anyway I replaced the rotors and pads, I suppose the rotors show a bit quicker wear because of the weight of the W140?

Also replace the acumulators, what an absolute improvement on the ride !!

87K would probably be about right on most any car. Typically you will replace the pads, then the next time you need pads it will also need the rotors. So at 87K yes I would assume it had pads done once already and now it was time for both pads and rotors.
