W210 SLS

Hi Guys,

Do all W210 sedans have rear SLS? I thoought they did, seeing as just about all w124 sedans have rear SLS.
I was told that only W210 wagons have rear SLS - which I find hard to believe...

124 sedans DO NOT have SLS, only the wagons have it.

Interesting. Do you have any pictures under the hood and under the back of the car. I've never seen a 124 sedan with SLS.

I'll have to take pics - it is similar to the system in my 1991 500 SE W126.

North American didn't get 124 sedans with rear SLS, perhaps the rest of the world did.

Interesting - I always thought the US got fully loaded Mercs of any model/range.
Our W124's never had electric seats - but all had rear SLS, even the early 200 carb models.

It definitely wasn't standard fit in the UK or mainland Europe, either on sedans. I have only seen one sedan with SLS and it was for spares several years ago. The SLS was fitted to the front and rear axle on that car.
