Summer's here...Cooling system almost perfect!
Thought I'd post this here so you guys know what your M103 cooling system should handle. Lots of posts here with members saying running up to 110C is OK -- No, it is not. If you are hitting this mark, you better have ambient temperature of 130F or start diagnosing right now since you are accelerating metal wear.
This is A/C on after a 30min, 20mile drive 110F ambient. Once I get my A/C back in order it should run a little cooler too since the condenser is running at high pressures and in turn raising my temperature. Aux fans are running on LOW with A/C on, 79C thermostat, Nissens Radiator (10k on it), Graf water pump (30k), Zerex G-05 + distilled water roughly about 40% concentration that's all cooling replacement I've done. No water wetter garbage. Just a pressure tight, flowing system. Happy summer cooling!

Thanks for the detailed setup. What's the 79C thermostat you're referring to? I assume it's not the stock version? What's the part # and / or where you got it from?
Thx

Stock version is 87C, but Behr makes a 79C. No issues running it. Obviously if you live in cold climate don't do it.
Part # 1002000715

Why not if I live in a cold winter climate (summers are hot though)?

If your summers don't exceed 90F, you don't really have a need for it.
