M104 wiring harness - W124 and W202 differences?

I'm trying to replace the engine wiring harness (injectors, etc) for a '95 C36 (W202). I was able to source a nice Delphi replacement harness out of a '95 E320 (date code 2002).

However my issue is with the differences on the wiring in the right side of the car, at the slide connector in the W202. The W124 harness terminates only with a ground wire and a 4-pin connector.

The slide connector controls the A/C amongst other things.

Has anyone replaced the harness in their M104 C-class with a 124 harness, and if so how were the two spliced together?

If it is NOT possible, and that I'm barking up the wrong tree, let me know. Just would like to know if it is a workable solution or not.

Thanks in advance!
