603 Head Removal Problem

Having a problem with final removal of head. Seems to be stuck by the chain tensioner area. Please help!!!

Have removed all 26 head bolts and 2 allen screws forward of cam gear and all attachments from turbo. When I lift head off, it is "stuck" in the front at the chain tensioner area. This is my first time doing a head job so any advice would really be appreciated.

Thanks!

Been awhile since I removed an OM603 head, but I recall the same problem, and "found" yet another headbolt that I had missed previously.

I think there was oil on the top of it and the bolt may have been in a slightly recessed location, making it difficult to spot.

Thumbs up

You removed the ones under the camshaft also? I had forgotten those once and felt like quite the fool...
