My 190E failed inspection today !
Oh no The 190E failed its yearly state inspection today with a bad front flex joint. The mechanic is going to fix it for me next week & is letting me get the parts. What all will I need to do this job right ? ( Im going to also do the rear joint) & how much labor time am I looking at ?

You'll need a Flex Disc (stay Well away from URO there are horror stories) I dont know if the bolts are re-useable. someone will chime in on that I'm fairly sure they are though... Jacks Jack stands and patience. if you are doing it yourself, make sure you orient the disc the right way

New bolts come with the new flex disc. Where do you live, that they looked at your drive shaft?
Here in CT, they just check lights, emmissions out the tail pipe, and test the gas cap.

The rear flex disks generally last two or three times the front disk, so don't spend the money unless you know it needs to be done. It doesn't wear because there isn't as much lateral movement at the differential. Most of the vibrations and movement and taken up at the front disk.
