Correct spark plug wires
Need some clarification please, on the correct plug wire set for a 1991 300CE 24v 104.980 motor. In preparing for a tuneup, the car has 4 plug wires that have the metal jacket plug connector and 2 of the wires have the newer verison with the rubber boot. Which is correct? This is the 104motor with 24v, cis and a distributor. Going to purchase a new set but the parts listings are confusing because, depending on the supplier, they show both versions. I want the original oem style. Thanks for any help.
Bill

The OE replacement wires should have a ceramic housing without metal shielding.
