Thanks for the tip. I think your 280s is a different model than my 280, but I'll check it out nevertheless.

Thought I'd post a follow-up. I finally obtained a condensor and with that and new points replacing the Lumenition, I was able to follow the troubleshooting directions in the manual.

I finally got it running two weeks ago and once I got the timing adjusted right, it doesn't seem to know that it sat for 3 years.
