Spark plugs
Hey folks. Whats the best spark plug for a 1993 300ce Cabriolet, and are there any tips and advise on plugs and the ignition system?

Here's the standard answer: the best plug is the one that Mercedes specifies for that engine. According to the EPC, that's a Bosch F8DC4.

I second that. Alot of people fall into the marketing trap of thinking their "expensive" European car needs some exotic plugs like Bosch Platinum, or double platinum, etc. Just use the good old cooper plugs specified by Benz. The Bosch plugs for my '94 coupe were something like $2.40 a piece, if I reember correctly. Ironically it's the plugs in my daughter's "economical" 2000 Toyota Celica that cost alot more. Spec for that car is Iridium plugs which were $8 a piece!!!!
