I just bought a 2003 C240 Mercedes Benz 6 Cylinders and not much familiar with gasoline Mercedes Benz, I was going to change spark plugs (all of them).
At the time to remove all sparks plugs I got surprised for the style and how the boots are built. It have a metal cover over all of them that, I figure that it his for some heat insulation but I was not able to remove them to access the plugs. I tried no to force too much because I do not believe that MB will make things complicated to be work on it. As I have only diesel MB many of techniques for gasoline engines I still to learn. Please if you can help me in how to do it, I will be glad. Thanks to all. Nyck
