2007 C230 P2767&P0025
Hi all!! I have a C230 in the shop for two codes. One is a P2767 input turbine speed sensor B circuit no signal pending. P0025 exhaust camshaft position timing over retarded bank 2. This is a code that came back 3 weeks after I replaced the exhaust camshaft magnets on both banks. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance

Mel,
Trans fluid service & speed sensor failure go hand in hand. If that trans isn't serviced EVERY 40K miles the valve body is DONE! Have you tried using the SDS & activating the camshafts and moving them thru their range?

I will try to use the SDS Monday and activate the camshafts so I can watch their movement. Thank you for the info on the transmission. I thought the newer transmissions would be different but I guess not. The rule of 40K max miles applies to the 722.9 trans as well as the .6. Thanks Pat for the info!! I will let you know what I find thru the SDS!!
