hi all,

does anyone know if 14 inch rims off a w201 will fit a 91 420SEL? i've got a good set of 14 inch rims/tires (manhole cover ones) that came off a 190E that i would like to fit on a 91 420 sel (it's got the 15 inch manhole cover ones)

I do not believe so. The 14" ones won't clear the brake rotor/caliper.

I know the older 14" bundts from the early 126 chassis do not fit the later 126s.

Also I believe the offset if wrong for the 201->126. 201's were 44-49ET, 126's were ~23ET I think.

They will fit in the rear, but as Tom says, the front brake increased in size for 86 and requires 15" wheels.

Offset is incorrect.
W201 is around offset 41 - 49.
W126 is around 15 - 25.
