Ignition Wires

In shopping for a new set of W124 6 cylinder ignition wires, it seems that there are two or three decent choices: Bosch/Beru, NGK, or Karlyn. My inclination is to go Bosch/Beru, but I've been very happy with NGK plugs. Anybody have any experience with the NGK wires?

Bosch & Beru are two different companies. And Beru having been sold to Borg Warner and at least the sparkplug div now sold again to Federal Mogul.

Do you have a source for Beru wires?

Never seen NGK wires, so can't comment.

They have Beru on this site's shopping section.

In older models the solid wires themselves rarely go bad;its mostly the end connectors which do become conductive due to dirt and moisture accumulation on the inner seal, evident by a corona ring around the plug base.A good clean-up helps to restore normal operation.

Mark, I recommend Beru ignition wires. Recently installed Beru wires in our 1991 and 1992 300CE's.
