steering stabilizer

I've noticed for awhile my 190e seemed to steer kind of hard I thought. Last winter when it was cold I turned a 90 degree turn & it didn't right back at all. I was looking at the curb. The other day I noticed a oil spot. I took the belly pan off, and the steering stabilizer was leaking. I checked the site for issues with them. I learned to take one end loose, and check for little resistance in either direction. Well, this one had a resistance, but it was kind of not relenting, so to speak. I ordered a new stabilius, and installed it. It made a vast difference. It now rights the wheel back up on corners, and the harsh steering seems to have gone by the way side. For one little item it has made a big difference, and it doesn't leak... like the old one did. However it was the same brand!
