Emergancy fuel door release?

Last night when getting diesel, my fuel filler door was locked and it took a couple tries of locking and unlocking the doors to open it. First time this has happened, most likely due to really cold weather.

I am leaving in a couple days for chicago (Comdex) and will be driving the 92 300D 2.5 turbo (124).

If I do have problems opening it while on the road, i am in trouble, lol. Isnt there an emergancy release mechanism?

To get the door open, you would have to open the trunk and reach behind the black inner liner. You could feel the vacuum servo and pull on it.

Donnie:
Isn't there a knob on the back of the actuator that you pull on to release it?
