Theres spark on the plugs, fuel pump running, dried off the spark plugs with propane torch and it started for 5 sec and it shut off again won't start.

Thanks for the reply Sinner I got it started today the heater I had didn't do nothing last night. Today went bought kerosene heater 125K BTU after 2hrs garage got warm enough to melt the ice in fuel lines, bad fuel last night that was water in spark plugs thats why it started for 5 sec after dried the spark plugs, I saw it today when i pulled them out again, car runs fine now poured heet in fuel and filled the tank, my wife filled it up at BP she said premium but I don't belive her, I allways go shell or mobil premium fuel from day one never had problems in cold weather before.

Thanks for your time

Talking

Update
You nailed it, it was the coolant temp sender by the thermostat part no. 0095423517.
Today the same thing started and shut off, replaced the sensor and it started right up, good thing I ordered the part last week since it was $15.

Thanks for input

Well today it will start and shut off again its like every Friday samething for like 3 weeks. Ill hold the gas pedal and it starts and shuts off. When it shuts off I can hear air coming from under the car like a compresor when it vents dont know what that is.
Thanks

Could it be the airhose or a type of check valve from the airpump that's leaking and you get false air in to exhaust when car is warmed and your o2 sensor is reading to much air in the fuel mixture.

Start with the basics...

The MAS/OVP/FPR whatever you want to call it needs to see and confirm a speed signal from the CPS/crank position sensor.
If it fails to see the speed signal in a few seconds it de-energizes the fuel pump(s).
This prevents fuel pumping into an engine that's not running.

It can be the CPS but more then likely the relay which is a very common problem.
Relay located behind the battery.
You can jumper pins 30 and 87 which energize the fuel pump and start the car.
If the car continues to run then it's the relay...

Your comment that at times it will crank but not start also points to the relay

Thanks for the reply
The 2 other timrs it did the same thing I would push the car in the garage, charge the battery and turn the heater on, after 2 hrs or so give it a try. I have to hold the gas pedal to the floor and 5 to 6 tries it will start and run fine for about 6 days come friday it does the samething.
Thanks

Exhaust was pluged with ice, thats what the air venting was. The car started this morning for about 5-10 sec. and shut off I heard air gushing out from under the car. After work came home started right up no smoke from tail pipe, turned off,air started gushing out from under the car. Same thing turned the heater on for about 3 hrs. in garage and car started right up, held the accelarator at 3k rpm I could see from tail pipe spitting out water and chunks of ice.

This summer I had the resonator removed it was leaking with straight pipe from cat to muffler at exhaust shop, it kind of sags before the muffler. I wunder if this is where the water builds up from condensation and freezes, plugs up the exhaust cousing all this trouble.

Any thoughts on this
