Getting car to free wheel

I have removed the engine and tranny and would like to move the car onto a trailer...the drive shaft and rear axle/differential are still in place..

How can I get the car to free wheel onto a trailer? Shouldn't the car roll now?

The front of the driveshaft is probably orbiting around and jamming; hopefully you didn't push it too hard or you may have damaged something else.

If you want to roll it around, you'll have to uncouple the flex disc at the differential and tie it out of the way.

Good luck.
