I think most people on this forum either have the tools, or use the tool rental program in place on this forum
Thats what I've done in the past, either borrow from someone on here or buy it outright. http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/tool-rental-program/

Wow, they've got a lot of specialty tools all right. I may need to rent the rear control/thrust arm bushing pull/press.
If you use them, please report back. |

Well after researching the company online, I could not find anything that relates to the tool rental program. What I did discover is that the rental company business is being ran out of an auto repair shop.
H & M ******** 10321 W Roosevelt Rd Westchester IL 60154 From what I read, they have been around for years but now has new owners using the same name. I most likely will pass on this one. |

I'm not defending nor promoting this tool rental company but here is a thought. I've purchased some pricey tools expressly for performing a once every ten to fifteen year repair. After I perform the repair, the pricy tools sit UNTOUCHED in a tool box for ten to fifteen years until the next time I need them. These tools represent a large financial investment. If a tool that is needed to perform a repair costs $100 but I could rent it for $10 that represents an immediate savings of $90. That is $90 that could go for groceries, gasoline; other useful things besides sitting in a tool box for 10 - 15 years. Just a thought.
