No power to smog pump

Don't know where to look. Traced the wires and they just disappear into the back of the engine. Checked fuses and they are ok. What should i look for?

RELAY in fuse box.

Paint mark them, make a simple diagram, then switch them around.

The salvage yard is your friend, I have cases of good used relays = start swapping until resolved or eliminated as a possible issue.
