87 420 sel bogs out.what clogged ?

wondering how to unclog whats in the throttle body?It ran but couldn't nail it.Would bog down.2 week ago.Yesterday I started it and it ran but would bog out with higher rpm.Today it would only idle and bogged out when I tried to give it some gas.Now it starts and dies out.Should i try carb cleaner or starting fluid. It has good gas in tank.Any ideas.Ive lit it set to much and whatever is cloged has gotten bad.
Thanks for reading

Check the catalytic converter. Pull the front O2 sensor and start the car. If the car revs freely then you know where the problem is.

There are LOTS of things that can cause a car to "bog down". Low fuel pressure, vacuum leak, back fuel/air ratio, bad electronics, etc,etc...

What else have you tried to clean/fix?

Which would tell me its running low on fuel, the spray was supplemental fuel. What is the fuel pressure at?

No, there is always a risk of backfire which could damage the intake and more. If you want the car on the road and working, there are some basics you must do. Otherwise take it to a mechanic.

If you cant, then do the basics. Change the fuel filter, inspect or change spark plugs, etc.

But based on what you have said thus far, I really recommend a mechanic.
