I have pulled the valve body again and can not find the causes of the error messages 55, 151, & P0730 so I have found a donor trans w/very low miles - 27k - for cheap, 250.00 out of a 99 clk 230
I want to transplant the valve body from that one into the original trans in the car to see if that will fix things.
the new trans is a 722.605 # 210 270 1701
will this valve body work in my 97 e420 in the existing tranny, build of 07 96?

update:
I just pulled the valve body from the new trans and it is identical to the old one.
both valve bodies have the same #'s on them 140 04 06 the only difference is a date 2 months apart the old one is 01 09 99
the new one is 03 14 99
