Is it time to change spark plug wires at 120k on E430
My 2001 E430 (V8) has 120k and I'm getting ready to change the spark plugs (2nd time) and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and change out the plug wires. Are they a "wear" item on this car? What's the recommended mileage to change the wires?

Not generally a 'wear item'. There is a specification for the resistance of each wire. If you have a good DMM you could test them. Most people would only replace a bad one since they are pretty expensive.
