Feel foolish posting this as I imagine there is an easy answer: Am currently struggling with the middle rear seat armrest on an 82 MB 300TD. Have been gently wrenching it every which way to put it back up in position - to no avail. Help! appreciate any assistance.

I used a saw all on mine and cut it off

A 300TD will not have a center rear armrest because the rear seats fold down. "T" is its designation for wagon or estate while "D" means diesel.

If you meant 300D (sedan), then the armrest can be returned by pulling UP from the back end, and pushing backwards from the front end.
