Sad 2.3-16V PNP find. The picture speak for themselves.

I saw this sad 2.3-16V at a pick and pull day before yesterday.

WOW! Had to be what a bunch of punks with sledgehammers? or a distraught former wife or girlfriend? Would love to know that back story.

Wow, that is a very sad sight indeed.

Were you at Crazy Ray's Jessup?

I have only come across one of these in the PNP`s and that was 4 yrs back.

Grab the 5-spd trans, this is the close ratio with 5th 1:1.
The peddles, Shifter and shift rods.
The Differential is a 3:07 with LSD.

You might want the Spedo also, geared to the Differential.

What a shame to see it like this. there were only around 1800 imported in 86 and 700 in 87.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.

80 240D Naturally Exasperated, 4-Spd 388k DD 150mph spedo 3:58 Diff

We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works
