starting problem

Hi,

I bought this car 5 years before from that time i am using it regularly ,last weak going to the office the car stops just a few meters from my house, from that time i am checking all the possibilities and changed fuel pump, check distributor, spark plug, check the compression, fuel flow pressure. when i checked the fuel injector while cranking the fuel is not injecting (sequence is like , when iginition on fuel inject, when cranking stops injection and while turn off the ignition fuel injection again) i did not have any idea why this happening or this is the process of ignition in Mercedes, first inject fuel and when cranking ignite with spark. can any one shed some light to rectify this i love that car very much.

thanks
sudeer.

The crank sensor & EZL are responsible for creating the dwell signal to the coil.
Of course the dist cap, rotor, & wires do fail as well.

The camshaft position sensor is the synchronism signal for the injectors.
