If you are going to work on your car you should have the manuals for guidance. They are available on CD. Check with Phil at Fastlane or go to ebay - there are always some there. A guy picked one up last week for only $10.95!!! Most of your questions will be covered by the manual.

Are the CD manuals on Ebay comparable to the ones sold on Fastlane? I found a few on ebay, but they weren't genuine Mercedes.

I have factory CD - don't know if the ebay non-factory ones are good - but for $10 - worth a try first before getting the OEM one. If you do get a non-oem one let us know what you think of it. Any one out there with a non-oem cd ??? Opinions please.
