The back trunk does say "AMG"....however I thought it is supposed to be on the rear passenger side. Also it it says "AMG", but I thoght it was "///AMG." There should be some serial numbers or part numbers somewhere that you can reference to.

1990 190E 3.0L

It does appear to be the AMG 2nd generation aero kit. The molded in logo on the left side of the ducktail spoiler would be correct. The /// would not be period correct for AMG as that was a later logo and only appeared on badges. My concern would be that the kit was not available in 1985 and it's obvious that it was added some years later since there were no AMG kits for the 190E with the lower body cladding until later.

The real test would be to inspect the pieces for the HWA numbers molded on the inside portions of the urethane plastic, not fiberglass, body kit pieces.
