W210 Wagon vs. W210 Sedan: Doors Same?
Are the rear doors the same on a W210 wagon and sedan? I'm trying to figure out whether that impact strip on the side is the same on both models. I have a wagon and was considering buying a used strip from a sedan. Thanks for any insights into this.

I have always been a wagon fan and in particular an MB wagon fan. To my knowledge MB has always spent the extra $$$ to design distinct rear doors for their wagons for appearance reasons. If you hadn't noticed before now, most other manufacturers save bucks with their wagons and SUV's and use the same rear doors as their sedans, pickup trucks which IMO results in a less fluid/integrated look overall e.g compare the ovoid Ford Taurus wagons of the mid 90's and early 00's and 2013 Chevy Equinox to the 2013 Hyuandai Sante Fe.
Also notice the failurure to make the window look and trim between the C and D pillars consistent with the window trim on the doors). Just my $.02. Mark |

So are the front doors interchangeable between the W210 sedan and W210 wagon?
