I HAVE A 1994 MERCEDES E320 AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON .. CAN THE CODES ON THIS CAR BE PULLED WITHOUT EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT OR A TRIP TO THE DEALERSHIP??? IF SO PLEASE EXPLAIN.. THANK YOU !

check engine
same thing happened to me just this morning, called the dealer for an appt., but they asked me to check the gas cap, looks tight,
gas was 1/2 full, re-filled to the hilt and wallah engine lights all came off. It's worth a try before heading to the dealer if everything is running smoothly. hope this helps ![]() |

Your car has a led/sw code retieval system built in at the
diagnostic plug [ next to the battery] Do a search for procedure... It has been posted many times. |
