Help Locked my keys inside with trunk open
Thanks for the tip. The car is not running now, it stoped.
What I would like to know is how to unlock the doors from the trunk vacuum pump Please explain DO NOT HAVE air compressor The CAR is in the basement of a building |

1) Locate the pump. 2) There is ONE vacuum hose attached to the pump 3) Remove the hose and blow into the hose as hard as you could. 4) All doors should unlock. Alternately, if the pump is NOT in the trunk then you may be able to find the vacuum hose to the trunk or gas cover lock. Undo the hose and blow towards the other side, not to the trunk or gas cover lock. Good luck.

does the car have a sunroof? Maybe you can find the sunroof motor mechanism in the rear and turn the emergency knob. I know on the W126 it is on the Left side of the trunk near the antenna mast

same thing happened on my 87 560sl; i simply activated the trunk lock lever and it unlocked the car.

i know you've fixed it already but.....since the truck was open and the system holds vacuum, you could have accessed the where the trunk lock sits and pull the arm from the vacuum pod to the lock mechanism; this would duplicate the action of turning the key in the trunk lock which has generally activated the central locking in the german cars i've owned
