Score! Time to stock up. That stuff is usually $8/qt around here.

The 5qt jug is definitely new. It's about time.

And if you care to join the Mobil 1 Club, you get back $5 for every 6 quarts you buy. The rebate comes in the form of gift cards from popular retailers.

Also, if you purchase 5 qts at amazon before 10/31 you get a $12 rebate but the oil is $49.00 so it's still more than Walmart.

The M1 0W40 is $22.46 when their "price rollback" is in effect making that 5 qt jug an even better deal for a MBz compliant oil .

Walmart has had this oil in a 5 qt. container for awhile now as I purchased some over half a year ago. They sometimes don't stock it on their shelves but have it stored in the back room, so you have to ask for it.

Good to know. It was new to me. I checked my store a few times over the last few years and they never had 0W-40. Someone there told me they didn't carry it.

Walmart does carry it, its bottles also say packaged exclusively for walmart (makes you hope its not watered down like all other products)
