Yes. One test is:

Put a long screwdriver directly on the injector while the car is running.

Hold the handle up to your ear.

You should hear ticking. They should all sound about the same.

You can also do an electrical resistance test but I don't know the odds of finding injector trouble that way.

Why not do something very inexpensive and simplistic, like pulling the spark plugs and "reading" them?
Will show the cylinder condition be it fuel, spark or oil.....

RB hey I've look at spark plugs there perfectly worn right.Look good as any engine I have worked on,with the exception of a American motors hornet with a bad cylinder. So bad I ran it off half gear oil,to slow oil burning.I read some other forums with same problems as mine, one loose cranksensor wire,I did get tree limbs caught under my vehicle. One wheel sensor losse caused a Ford to run bad.Two GM cars bad cranksensor, another GM bad TPS.So Sunday they give it 40 degrees I will check under car.Todays high 18

I'm thinking of your symptoms and it appears that you've replaced many parts.

Not familiar with the S-Class M104 but do you have a mechanical or electronic speedometer?

Reason I ask is that the mechanical speedo that most M104's use has a hall effect device mounted on the rear of the speedo that creates a speed signal.
This signal or lack there of is the same signal that will not allow the car to rev above 4000 rpm in park or neutral.
Possible that if not functioning then the car never thinks it's going above 3mph and the RPM is limited ?
Won't throw any codes because nothing will appear malfunctioning.

The speedo is electric, but I don't think its that. What ever it is is also affected by temperature. As mostly every morning or when engine is cold between 75c and 78c,the motor will bounce rpms 200 to 400 rpms,as I drive or cruise. When I mash gas more for a load or hill it disappears.I believe its do to under hood temperature. So it could be a crank sensor or something else.once the engine is warm 78c or higher,or underhood warm its fine. However I still have problem going over 3,000 rpms. Now I can floor it in first gear, but when it reaches 3,000 it acts like its hit the limiter.Beginning to wonder if my computer is messed up.
